Understanding Call History

The Call History page in the parent portal gives you a complete record of every call made to and from your Wiley phone. Use it to monitor phone usage, check for missed calls, and stay informed.

Quick Summary

  • View all incoming, outgoing, and missed calls in one place.
  • See the caller name (if they're in your contacts), phone numberdate/time, and duration.
  • Call history updates automatically — usually within a few minutes of each call.

How to View Call History

  1. Log into the parent portal.
  2. Click Call History in the sidebar.
  3. Browse the list of recent calls.

Each entry shows:

  • Direction — incoming, outgoing, or missed
  • Contact name — if the number is in your allowlist
  • Phone number — the full number
  • Date and time — when the call happened
  • Duration — how long the call lasted

Filtering & Searching

You can filter call history to find specific calls:

  • Search by contact name or phone number
  • Filter by call type (incoming, outgoing, missed)
  • Sort by date (newest or oldest first)

What You Can Learn from Call History

  • Who is your child talking to most? Check for the most frequent contacts.
  • Missed calls — did someone try to call while quiet hours were active, or while the phone was unplugged?
  • Call duration — monitor how long calls last.
  • Unknown numbers — if a number shows up that isn't in your contacts, it may have been allowed before you set up the allowlist.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How far back does call history go? Call history is retained for a rolling period. Recent calls are always available.

Q: Can I delete call history? Call history is managed automatically and cannot be manually deleted from the portal.

Q: Do blocked calls appear in history? No. If a number is on your blocklist, the call is rejected before it reaches the phone, so it doesn't appear in call history.

Q: Do calls during quiet hours appear? Yes. Calls that go to voicemail during quiet hours still appear as "missed" in your call history.
