Account Creation Issues

We're improving the account creation process but you may be receiving an alert that says "Provisioning Error

Step: complete_onboarding

Error: Your card could not be processed. Please double-check the card number, expiry, and CVV, or try a different card."


You might have seen a message about your credit card not working. Assuming the card is actually valid we found another little part that could be getting in your way:


Please check the following:

  1. Card details — Make sure your card number, expiry date, and CVV are entered correctly. If the problem continues, try a different card.
  2. Billing address — Confirm your address matches what's on file with your card issuer.
  3. ZIP code (important) — If Wiley auto-completed your address, it may have added 4 extra digits to your ZIP code (for example, "12345-6789"). This often causes the payment to fail. To fix this: Go back to the address field and delete the dash and the last 4 digits, leaving only your 5-digit ZIP code (e.g., "12345").

Then try submitting your payment again.
