How a conference works with 2+ phones in the home

Want 2+ Wiley devices to do a three way call with somebody outside the home?

1. Wiley Phone 1 Call your own number from either of your phones. Wiley Phone 2 will ring, pick up the phone.

2. On either Wiley Buddy press the button that says "flash". When pressed a dial tone will appear (putting the other Wiley Buddy phone on hold). Dial the other desired party's number.

   Magic Box If your analog phone has a button that says "flash" on it, press that. If you don't have a flash button quickly press the hang up method & proceed. (eg button or handset cradle hook)

   
   
3. When the other party picks up, press the "flash button" with the phone used to call the third party.
4. You are all connected!

Fun Tip If you have 2+ Wiley home phones if you call your own home phone number it'll call all the other ones :)

Pro Tip

1. Set up speed dial in the Parent Portal. Instructions here
2. Set your own number as one of the speed dial numbers (eg 0)

How many phones can I add? Wiley allows as many devices you wish to have in a household.

Can you conference call? All Wiley devices allow 3 way calling

If I have 2+ phones are we able to pick up the phone and all talk together? Yes but not like the old days. Old copper telephone lines worked in that way because there were physical wires connecting all the phones together. The technology and devices we're using (VoIP) does support 3 way calling, just in a different way. (no more spying on calls ha)
